Ski Sapphire Valley End of Summer Update!

NEWS! New date for the Great Outhouse Races - February 7, 2026!!! [ https://skisapphirevalley.com/great-outhouse-races-ski... ]
One of the quirkiest and most beloved winter traditions at Ski Sapphire Valley is the Great Outhouse Races, a hilarious and family-friendly event that draws big crowds each February.
Teams of daring competitors build their own “outhouses” on skis—complete with creative themes, decorations, and plenty of personality—and then race them down a snowy track, pushed and pulled by team members while one lucky rider sits inside.
What started as a fun community gathering has grown into a must-see spectacle, blending small-town charm, winter sports, and plenty of laughter. With live music, food, and a festive atmosphere surrounding the competition, the Great Outhouse Races capture the spirit of Sapphire Valley by turning a simple idea into an unforgettable mountain experience.
